Children are one of our five targeted ministries at Forefront. When you bring your kids to us, we want you to know that we have prepared an action packed, fun, learning time with them. Our goal is to help your kids take one step closer to God … regardless of where they start. Whether you’re brand new to church or have never missed a Sunday, we think you’ll find a home at Forefront Kids!
What’s the Big Idea?
Every Sunday everyone at Forefront Church is learning about the same Big Idea at their own age appropriate level. This means that all the kids in our program are able talk with their parents about the same topics at the dinner table on Sunday nights and throughout the week. We think this is an exciting concept that brings families together to focus on important life issues.
Our ministries are staffed by volunteers who want to impact the lives of kids. Consistent teaching teams and familiar faces in each classroom provide the children a sense of security and will enable them to develop significant relationships with their teachers. Forefront is committed to providing a safe and secure environment for all children who participate in our programs.
What’s The Sandbox?
Early Childhood (Infants – Pre-Kindergarten)
We provide a loving and nurturing nursery for our infants where they will be cared for while their parents attend the main worship services. The toddlers and other pre-K students have an fun environment where they engage through songs, crafts and age-appropriate lessons.
What’s The Fort?
School Age (Kindergarten – 6th Grade)
Our Forefront Children’s church presents the Big Idea message with interactive worship, engaging teaching, skits, art, games and more! We want to create a fun atmosphere that our kids will be excited to come to, and also will want to bring their friends to. We believe it’s a sin to bore your kids with the things of God. Besides, we’ve got flat screen tv’s and some Wii’s … kids usually come running to church!
