Amy Jo is a Colorado native! She loves spending time with God and in his word, as well as time with her family and friends; especially her husband, Jonathan, and their daughter, Annabelle. Amy Jo enjoys being outdoors, hiking, traveling, Pilates and Barre, ethnic food and any trends from the 80s and 90s (yes, she grew up in the 80s). 

Before coming to Forefront, Amy Jo taught various grades-kindergarten, 1st grade, 2nd grade and 4th grade-in diverse places from Littleton to Cherry Creek to Hong Kong and then Denver. With a nudge from the Holy Spirit, she quit teaching and helped launch kids ministry at Flatirons Aurora Campus as Kids Min Director. After having her sweet and creative daughter, she chose to stay home and she is now a homeschool mama. Amy Jo feels blessed and honored to serve alongside Forefront’s community, staff and volunteers. She is humbled to be entrusted with this part of God’s kingdom where, with the help of the Holy Spirit, she gets to disciple and equip our children to share the gospel and shine the light of Jesus wherever they go.
